All you need is to be available for a few hours each week and basic computer skills and we will teach you the rest. The possibilities are endless!
Write feature stories, design flyers, edit documents, and research information.
Do you love to type? We are looking for individuals who have computer knowledge and a desire to do data entry. Must be very accurate and pay attention to detail.
Need some exercise? Network by helping us spread the word about us! Print literature at home and post them in your area. Talk to your friends, neighbors, post on your Facebook page etc.
Do you love to talk on the phone about boxers? We need people to call and check personal references as well as vet references.
Home Visit Coordinator
The home visit coordinator position is a critical internal role. You will be coordinating home visits for both potential foster homes as well as adopters.
Home Visit Volunteers
Every potential adopter and foster home must pass a Home Visit before an adoption or placement can take place. This helps us ensure the animal is the right fit for the new family as well as ensuring that our rescue dogs are being placed into the best environment possible for their individual needs.
Do you have a professional camera, love to put your creative skills to work, enjoy working with the public and have access to email and can send photos within 24-48 hours? If you answered yes then this is the perfect job for you.
Special Event Assistant (At offsite events)
Do you enjoy interacting with the public and have a dynamic personality? Do you thrive on organizing and being creative?
Certified Vet Tech preferred, or have previous experience working in the veterinary field as a receptionist, assistant, etc. Vetting Coordinator will assist the fosters with the vetting needs of our foster dogs. This individual would help in the day-to-day conversations (phone & email) between foster families, vets and the BoD.
The microchip coordinator is responsible for registering all microchips for incoming and adopted animals that come into the rescue. or bi-daily basis.
Fundraising/Marketing Committee Members
Committee members work with the event/fundraising coordinator in coordinating all fundraising events and also hosting certain fundraisers. The committee members are the ones in charge and named “leads” of upcoming events. You will be interacting/communicating with individuals as well as various companies.
Helps with setup/tear down of events such as fundraisers, educational events, adoption events, block parties, business expos, etc. You would also help to hand out educational materials and educate people on the rescue and try to recruit new volunteers.
